In many cases, tests are done and reimbursed without pre-authorization, however, to ensure that our clients are properly reimbursed, our office will call the patient’s insurance company to pre-authorize the test for you. This is yet another service that is included in our diagnostic testing program
In Workers Compensation and Private insurance cases, your Chiropractic Allotment will not be affected in any way. However, in Personal Injury (with Med-Pay only) cases, the total amount billed out will affect what will be available for Chiropractic treatment after the test is done.

You can prepare your patients by informing them that they will be receiving a non-invasive test to evaluate their symptoms (the test is easily explained with the brochures that our office will provide you- at no extra cost). Please tell them to wear loose clothing, with no jewelry and no lotions or creams. Each test takes approximately 30 minutes. *Please note: Chiropractic and therapeutic treatment prior to the tests will not affect the integrity or findings of the test. However, patients cannot get therapeutic massage treatment prior to testing.

Each test date you will only be able to perform tests on a maximum of fifteen (15) patients depending on the number of studies being conducted on each patient. You can test as early as you would like. The technician will arrive 15-30 minutes before the first scheduled patient to go over paperwork and any other questions or concerns. Our only request is that if you are scheduling a technician to be in your office for more than six hours, please also schedule a lunch break for the technician.

Once you have tested your patients once, they will be eligible for a follow-up after: (30) days for MSK (90) days for NCV (2) times per year for VAS Because of insurance regulations, you must wait three months before re-testing the same patient on the same extremity or area.

As long as all paperwork for the day of testing is filled out and signed by the doctor (mainly The DX Referral Form), the doctor does not have to physically be present in the office on the day of testing. By having The DX Referral Form filled out and signed, the technician is performing all testing under the doctor’s supervision.

Your office will receive the results by mail approximately 2-5 business days after your test date.

The average turnaround for reimbursements is 4-12 weeks. Our billing department will continually follow up on any unpaid claims to ensure that full and proper payment is made.

Call our main office at 800-967-3309. You will talk to a consultant who will outline the program and tell you what steps to take to begin enhancing your practice.

Once you join our program, our Scheduling Director will work closely with you to schedule a regular test day, so that you are guaranteed a day that works best for your practice.

Our office will confirm your test date in two intervals, 14 days in advance, and then 7 days in advance. Seven (7) days prior to your test date, our office requires that you fax the patient information sheet, a copy of insurance card (front and back), and The DX Referral Form for each patient to be tested.
